Welcome to the Ardea Inn!
Lavinia and I welcome you to our home and hope your stay is comfortable and relaxing! We are new hosts on AirBnb, but have been AirBnb guests for years (check out our reviews). We’ve created an inviting, comfortable, and private space, while also adding features unique to the Niagara Falls area.
We have artwork throughout the home from local artists, amenities from local gardens and farms, and a vast knowledge of the area, so you can create interesting adventures during your stay.
We encourage our guests to look beyond the Falls and extend your stay!
To the East, we have amazing vineyards and the Erie Canal locks at Lockport to explore!
To the North, Toronto is a city worth exploring, culturally diverse and always an adventure.
A short trip South and Buffalo offers numerous architectural gems. You can check out The Darwin Martin House, the GrayCliff estate, or venture out on your bike to check out the Central Terminal.
In addition to hosting, we own a business recycling building parts, operate a low cost building supply store, and are building a community playspace for kids and families. We love to dance, explore interesting cities and countries, spend time outdoors, and go on adventures! We look forward to meeting you!

An absolutely beautiful place to stay. Everything was very clean. The place had such a homey feeling. A full kitchen was available for use, where we were able to cook a meal. Breakfast is available. It was a great stay, would absolutely recommend this to everyone.

Awesome visit! Beautifully renovated Victorian home with plenty of areas to relax, indoors and out. Charming and well-appointed room, with spotless linens and “boutique” toiletries. Convenient to the Gorge trail, which will lead you directly to the Falls – a 20 minute walk. The kitchen was well-stocked with fresh and varied breakfast items. Michael was a gracious and informative host. Would stay again!

This house is amazing. Immaculate to say the least. Parking lot just for guests. Even the creaks going up and down the staircase are awesome. If your are looking for excellent character, location and host make sure to experience this home. This is a LGTBQ friendly space as well. Thank you Michael, your hard work is very evident. Magnificent home steps from the Niagara Aquarium, the Niagara Gorge Discovery Center, and biking/running/walking trails all situated alongside the Niagara River Gorge!! Michael and his daughter made this place feel comfortable and cozy adding special and personal touches in every room. From the local art displayed and beautiful plants throughout each room to the fresh coffee, sightseeing suggestions, and ideal location for the price… you needn’t look any further than HERE to stay for your visit. My son and I have stayed at a TON of airBNBs over the years and this one takes the cake (and ice cream, quite literally)!!! Excellent communication, help, tips, tricks, and just about any/everything you need to feel comfortable and safe throughout your stay. I only wish we stayed outside in the backyard MORE as it is a perfect backdrop for a quiet and relaxing evening. We will always suggest this spot for family and friends who wish to visit this gem!!
